Joke of The Day!
I went for a movie few days ago. While watching the advertisement of the movie Miami Vice.. I found the movie familiar and was very sure that I've watched it before.. Venus said it can't be since it's showing now.. But I know I've seen it before as the ppl in the movie I've seen.. and I know the story... I kept telling Venus I've seen it but she said I must have been dreaming...
I was going to write into GV and ask them how come they are showing the movie again.... (when I've already watched it)
Somehow I had the feeling I better ask PJ first... I asked her if we have seen the movie before and her answer was "Ya, we saw it in Thailand!" OMG!! HaHa!!!!

Cupid's Nite
13 September 2006
As the saying goes, close friends are able to choose the best partner for you as they know you best. So c'mon down with your close friend to size up the right person for each other. With a friend by your side, you can start soothing your nerves and enjoy the night as you play cupid for each other!
From the above paragraph, I'm sure all of you are curious to know what happened that night... I wasn't thinking of blogging about this topic as it wasn't any excitement to me! But PJ said I should post it so ppl would know it was the MOST TERRIBLE, BORING NIGHT WE HAD!!! :-(

Makes Sense?
The biggest motivation is SALARY....... Everyone should totally agree on this!
The unluckiest thing is promotion without salary adjustment.......... SO TRUE!
The most "shiok" thing is you don't work anyhow also get pay increment.... This only applies to ppl who knows how to curry favour or bosses pet.
The greatest talent is "carry big stuff"
The greatest mistake is to argue with your boss
The most demoralising thing is to receive salary late....... Ya man! Headche leh
The most pitiful thing is you did not get your salary and your boss ran away... So far never try before
The happiest thing is you become your boss' boss..... When will this day come?
The cleverest thing is you are late but boss doesn't know..... No leh.. Boss very smart wan. If not got spies to tell. Late is crime...
The stupidest thing is you publicly say that you are lazy
The most common thing is - the boss says something but means another. True
The proudest thing is you sack your boss...... haha... Did that before
The most "lugi thing is you work hard but your colleague takes the credit... Ya man! Kena so many times... Bloody hell!
The most dangerous thing is to become a "two-headed" snake
The biggest satisfaction - sending e-mail like this during office hours! Hahaha.. Totally true.. Especially me now blogging too

Speed Date
7 September 2006
Always wanted to meet your compatible other half? People who are born in the year of the dog, horse, rabbit and tiger are supposed to be more compatible for each other. So come and watch love blossom for you.... From the above, I'm sure you know it's a speed dating session...
Yes! I signed up for it.. Quite excited just now.. Imagine me searching thru my cupboard and wondering what to wear. Tried on a few old blouses but didn't seem nice. Wanted to wear my new transparent blouse with a tank top... But the colour seems abit too bright.... So ended up with my usual black top with abit of green in the centre...
On the way to TCC, heart beat getting faster and faster.. Nervous lah! :P Seeing that nobody was there yet as I was like 30 mins early, so hung near to TCC and watching if anyone walked in.... Saw some standing just outside TCC.. Wanted to approach them to see if they were coming for the date.. But somehow my feet couldn't move.. Words were just stuck in my throat... haha
The organiser and volunteers soon came.. Registered ourselves, got our name tag and number.. Sat around waiting for others to arrive... Hmmm.. more guys were coming in... Since there wasn't anything much to do yet, so I introduced myself to some guys.... hehe.. One was called Albert, other was Alex. Albert was always smiling, being extremely friendly. Alex was ok. Quite quiet.
How the date was played? The gals will sit at the tables as stated on the tags. The 2 guys will start first at one table and rotate whenever the bell rings. Each table is allowed 10 mins. So the 2 gals & 2 guys will have a time of 5 mins each to chat. The questions and answers will have to be simple. No offending questions. No asking of what the person does for a living unless both parties agree on that question. No exchanging of phone numbers or emails. For contacts, the organiser will revealed to us next week on those we are interested in.
A while later everyone proceeded to the assigned tables... So we started with the questions like work as what, hobbies, what they do in their free time, whether they like travelling, what places they have travelled to.... the 4 of us took turns to answer. There were a few guys that I end up talking 10 mins to just one person.. Somehow the minutes didn't seem enough. haha
Of coz there were few interesting ones. It's really true that looks can be deceiving.. Why I said that coz ppl that I think may not be chatty or interesting are actually the good ones.. Yes! There was one that I was interested in... :P
Session ended around 9.45pm... After that the gals and guys sat in 2 groups again.. Of coz gals talking about the ones they interested and guys did the same.. haha.. Some guys forgot the gals tag numbers and had to go around searching... I wanted to go chat with the rest of the guys that stayed longer.. but somehow seems odd if I'm the only one doing that... Sigh!
The conclusion was I'm glad I didn't backed out and happy that I knew more friends and also enjoyed myself very much. I thought I would be like too quiet as it's new ppl.. But surprisingly I wasn't as quiet as I thought I would be. Maybe as I get older, more daring... Anyone agree with me?
